Taking Online Surveys – Are “Free” Paid Surveys Worthwhile?

Online survey sites are a dime a dozen if you haven’t noticed already. The Internet world is simply overflowing with them. This makes it hard for the average Internet user to have any idea what they should be looking for when searching for information about taking online surveys. It’s all so confusing sometimes, there is no doubt.

Still, the idea of earning loads of money while just sitting around at home is very appealing to some people. To be more honest, it’s quite appealing to most people! I actually don’t know even one person who would not love to just stay at home and work and earn money.

That brings us to the issue of “free” paid surveys sites versus the sites that charge you for a monthly membership or the ones that charge a one-time fee.

The truth is, a lot of the free survey sites are really not going to be all that trustworthy. Many times they exist for the sole purpose of gathering people’s personal data so that they can later solicit them with unwanted spammy email.

Now, that is not to say they are all dishonest. There are certainly a few that are playing it straight and you’d be just fine taking online surveys from those companies, But how in the world to find them, isn’t it like looking for a needle in a haystack?

So, while yes, you can use the free sites to get money for surveys, you might be better served to just go to a survey company that has been around for a while and has a proven track record, even if you have to pay a small one-time start-up fee.

However, don’t sign up with any sites that ask you to pay monthly. There is simply no need for it when there are many other companies ready and willing to pay you for taking surveys without any kind of monthly fee.
