Online Surveys for Pay – How to Find Legitimate Paid Surveys on the Internet

You probably see them everywhere you go online, lots of advertisements to do online surveys for pay. It is very important to remember that, while some of these offers are on the up-and-up, some are shady and should be avoided.

Let’s say for example the company wants to charge you on a monthly basis for taking surveys and getting paid. If the survey website wants to charge you a monthly fee, avoid that company. While it might be legit, it is probably not, and even if it is there is no reason you need to pay a monthly fee.

Should all paid survey sites be free? Not necessarily. That really doesn’t have anything to do with whether the site is an honest one. There are plenty of excellent survey websites that will allow you to take online surveys for pay but yet charge a small one-time fee when you start up. This is actually what most of the legitimate companies do.

Does that mean no companies that are totally free are actually honest? No, not at all. But check them out thoroughly before jumping in, because you just might be wasting your time filling out surveys when you may or may not get paid.

So how do you know a site is legit? First, check to see how long they have been around. If they have just started up recently, like within a few months, I would avoid them. Maybe check back later and see if they are still around in a few months. If, on the other hand, you notice the company has been in business for a year or more, you are most likely safe to try some surveys. So go ahead and sign up and try a few surveys a day for a while and see how it goes. Before you know it, you can be making a very good part-time income and getting cash for taking surveys.
