Let’s face it, a lot of people are out of work nowadays, and even those who have a job are maybe having a tough time making ends meet. It sure would be nice to have a bit of extra cash coming in, wouldn’t it? And every day you probably receive lots of “junk mail” with all kinds of offers about how you can make a lot of money just sitting around at home typing stuff on the computer or make money taking surveys.

So what’s the deal with these offers, are they just scams? Or could there be some legitimate real true offers in that group that would allow you a little breathing room every month and maybe even some extra spending money. Wow, imagine that!

Well the answer is that yes, there are scams out there and yes, there are authentic legitimate sites as well. But how can you tell which sites are the good ones?

Do your research, first of all. If you are looking to earn money taking surveys, I would look for a survey company that has been in operation for at least a year or more. Too many times a company will try to jump on the bandwagon, and you’ll know these by the fact that they are only a few months old and probably don’t have any testimonials anywhere.

The legit sites will have been in business hopefully for years, and you’ll be able to find some testimonials usually, sometimes right there on the website itself.

The main thing is, don’t assume all the survey sites are scams, as there are definitely some good ones in the bunch, and many people are pulling down some real good money from them on a monthly basis.
